Where We Are
Isola Santa lies in the Garfagnana region, in the heart of the natural park of the Apuan Alps, in an ideal position to visit and discover these mountains.
The village rises on the shores of the homonymous lake, originated by the waters of the stream Turrite Secca. This valley is one of the wildest of the Apuan Alps, as it is hided by overhanging tops of mountains and steep spurs.
Many paths starts from here and reach some of the most important and well-known mountain tops: the whole mountain chain Pania, the mountains Corchia, Freddone, Sumbra and many others.
